Spring Events: Art, Community, and the Garden in Bloom
This April brings two opportunities to connect—through sculpture, shared stories, and hands-on community work in the garden.
Sokno Sculpt Member Exhibition: Connections

Join us for the opening of Connections, the Sokno Sculpt Member Show, celebrating the work of regional artists and the relationships that shape our creative community.
This exhibition features sculpture by: Scott Angelucci, Jason Brown, Wilson Browning, Bill Cook, Gwendy Kerney, Jennifer Kirkpatrick, Joe Kyte, Marissa Mitchell, Gerry Moll, Lindsay Skvarek, Steven Varga, J Taylor Wallace, and Emily Moorhead-Wallace.
The show will remain on view through April 2026, offering an extended opportunity to experience the breadth and depth of sculptural practices in our region. From material explorations to conceptual forms, Connections reflects the many ways artists respond to place, process, and one another.

Chagigah Shel Gina project (Garden of Celebration in Hebrew) : Planting Workshop

Be part of bringing the Garden of Celebrations to life during Good Deeds Day, an international day dedicated to community service and collective action.This hands-on workshop invites participants of all ages and abilities to help shape a new natural playscape while learning about sustainable gardening and traditional Jewish heritage plants. Together, we’ll dig, plant, and build a space rooted in culture, ecology, and shared experience.
Workshop highlights include:
Planting & Playscape Building: Help establish key elements of the garden
Plant Swap (3–4 PM): Bring a plant to exchange, organized by the Knoxville–Oak Ridge Hadassah
Jewish Plant Taste Testing: Sample recipes inspired by plants growing in the garden
Learning in Action: Discover sustainable gardening techniques to use at home and beyond
